My Homemade DIY Black Castor Oil


Using the penetrating oils on your hair can make all the difference in treatment. Every week, twice a week I will do a hot oil treatment to my hair. I, however, do something extra; I make my blend of black castor oil with herbs and olive oil for health and better hair growth. Oils not only helps my hair with growth, it softening my hair, help my scalp, it even treats my edges and promote new hair growth from damage bald spots. If your hair is suffering from damage follicles, shedding, and dryness a hot oil treatment may be just what you need

Benefits of the Herbs Horsetail The silica in Horsetail may help promote hair growth and strength and may also be beneficial for hair loss, dandruff, and split ends. Your brittle hair is restored, this stops breaking or thinning which in turn prevent future hair loss. By adding the herb to your mix and massaging it into your scalp about 1 to 2 times a week, your hair health can be improved. Horsetail may help stimulate new hair growth and decrease dandruff and also improve the circulation of blood flow in the scalp the also strengthening hair follicles. Stinging Nettle (Urtica Diocia) Found in North America, stinging nettle is a vigorous plant that is well known for its hair growing benefits. By preventing the conversion of testosterone hormones into dihydrotestosterone (DHT) this herb helps your hair from falling away prematurely. Studies have found that an excessive production of your DHT can usually trigger hair loss. You have the option to take this has a capsule or pill, but for the oil purposes, you can find the Stinging Nettle herb. Burdock (Arctium lappa) If you are suffering from big time hair loss, it is a definite plus to have this herb in your products. Burdock can promote healthy hair by not only improving blood circulation of blood flow but relieving any scalp irritations that you may have. Burdock comes with a very high level of essential fatty acids and phytosterol compounds that are well known to benefit your hair in reversing and reducing hair thinning. In the majority of hair loss product that are being sold in today's market, phytosterol is one of the most potent ingredients used. Burdock gives the product a high rate of actually restoring your hair and making it a big hit in the hair growth product industry today.

You will need to have: Castor oil 8 oz. Horsetail 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil 8 oz. Stinging Nettle 1/2 cup Burdock Root 1/2 cup •Baking pan •Black Tea (6 bags) •Plastic or glass jar with a lid to store your oil

Mixing instructions: Add the Horsetail, Stinging Nettle, Burdock root, and six black tea bag of herbs to the pan. Make sure to cut the tea bags and add just the herb that is inside without the bag. Now Mix all the herbs together with a spoon, make sure they are well mixed. Now add both the 8 oz. of olive oil and castor oil to the pan. Mix the herbs with the oils well and make sure it is evenly spread in the pan. Baking Instructions: Preheat your oven for 450 degrees to bake your mix. After it has been properly heated add your pan to the oven and set it for 3 to 5 hours. Now let all the herbs and oil bake together for the remaining hours. If your Mix looks well bake before 5 hours is up you may take it our of the oven, so it does not burn. Make sure to check about every one to two hours to see how your mix is doing. After it is done baking take it our of the over and set it on top for about 1 to 2 hour to cool down to room temperature. Now add your mix to your container and store in a dry, cool place for use. ​****Be patient. Herbs take much longer than chemicals do. It may take several months for you to see results. ****Always check for allergic reactions, consult a physician before trying anything new that may react to your skin in any way.
