Natural Homemade Balanced Hair Shampoo For Balance Scalp pH Level

Your scalp's pH is essential for healthy hair growth. If you are suffering from an itchy scalp, one easy answer could be that your scalp pH is not in its proper pH range. If you are using store bought products than most likely, your scalp's pH will fall off the range due to the high alkaline level in these products. They have a tendency to strip your hair of it's natural oils and leave the hair dry and unmanageable. Natural shampoos like Castile soap still have a high pH level that affects your scalp so you may start to notice a difference in your hair after using them. After a few months, they can dry out your hair, cause itchy scalp, and even frizz that you would, later on, have to go back and fix. Most likely if your hair is on the dry side, you will always want to make sure you have a natural botanical conditioner to use after your shampoo

A conditioner can be used after using the Coconut shampoo. Personal hair care is different for each individuals hair type and its need. Your hair can be beautiful after using this treatment, or you may need to deep condition afterwards. Try adding a little vitamin E oil, Jojoba oil or even sweet almond oil if you suffer from dry hair.

Ingredients:

Directions

  1. Add the can of coconut milk, Aloe Vera gel, and Avocado oil in a glass bowl

  2. Mix all ingredients together using a hand mixer (or spoon if you preferred)

  3. Using a plastic container, pour your mixture in ( you can make small cube size to use one by one later on in your hair). Store any unused amount in your freezer and wait a few hours until frozen completely.

When Using

When shampooing your hair with the mix, it is best to do it in sections to make sure the full hair is completely covered. Section off your hair into four sections and gradually apply the mix small sections at a time until the entire section is covered. Afterwards, massage the hair for about two minutes and let it sit to soak in the strands for about 15 minutes or until you are ready to shower. Make sure to massage the scalp thoroughly while steadily moving to the tips. Remember this is not a traditional shampoo so it will not lather so don't keep on adding too much thinking that it will provide more cleansing power. After the mix is done, rinse it out with cool water, make sure your hair is completely rinsed out and product free. Afterwards, if your hair feels a little clumpy or waxy use an apple cider vinegar rinse to help clear away leftover residues. If you have any remaining shampoo all you do is store it in the fridge for future usage. Give this conditioner a chance of trying it out at lease four times to see if it makes a difference in your scalp. The pH in your scalp is important, so if it is out of balance you may have an itchy scalp, flaky scalp, a little more or less greasy scalp. So washing your hair with a natural pH balanced shampoo can help rehydrate, moisturize, and getting your scalp pH back on track.
