Mean Green Energy Boost, Vitamins, and Detox Green Juice

Having a green juice at lease once a week benefits your body in numerous ways. Unlike a regular cup of milk, you purchase from the store, green juice is very alkalizing, cleansing, healing, hydrating and restorative. A Green juice is a great news than you can imagine for your body when it comes to keeping it healthy. Most disease, inflammation, pain or even cancer lives and thrive in an acidic environment. You can rebuild muscle and damage cells through green juicing. Green juice offers a broad cross-section of different nutrients from a variety of various greens and sprouts. Green juice supplies the body with chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has many benefits to the body; neutralizes toxins in the body, helps purify the liver, improve blood sugar problems, regulates digestion, helps rebuild tissues, antibacterial and much more. A 32 0z glass of fresh green juice may supply much of the protein an average adult needs each day. Believe it or not, leafy greens are 30% protein. Green vegetable juice won’t spike your blood sugar and insulin level like fruits and sweet vegetables like carrots and red beets will. It's best to combine those in your green juices instead of drinking alone. Equipment You Will Need Making your juice you will need a juicer that can juice all your fruits and vegetables. I use the (Black & Decker Fruit and Vegetable Juice Extractor), it is easy to use and takes a little time to clean. Make sure to have proper storage for your juice once it is made. You can store this mix for one to three days, but I usually do not leave it past the three day period. Next, you will need a cutting board, knife, and make sure that you have a large bowl to place your fruits and vegetables after you gather them all together.

  • Cucumber (2)

  • Celery (4 stalks)

  • Parsley (1 bunch)

  • Apple (6)

  • Kale (1 bunch)

  • Ginger (1 piece 2" long)

  • Lemon (2)

Juicing Start with your most wet ingredients first and juice them, it will be quick and easy to get those done. After you want to go and juice your leafy greens, then follow the rest of your fruits and vegetables. This mix can serve up to two servings, so all you do is pour it in a storage container of your choice and drink one glass full on the day you make it and store the second glass in your fridge for the next day. Remember that even with the lemon acting as a natural preservative that this juice should not be kept over an extended period. The max number of days is usually two to four days you would store it to drink. The longer you store natural juices, the more they lose some of their nutritional values you would receive from drinking it fresh. Just drinking one fresh glass of green juice a day is a reliable way to infuse your body with a variety of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. These benefits work to protect your cells from some diseases along with aiding your body with signs of premature aging.
