Hemp Protein and Banana Post-Workout Shake


Eating after your workout helps your body kickstarts the process of muscle-building along with helping your body recover at a faster rate from your previous exercise. Within 30 minutes after your workout session feeds your body a simple smoothie that consists of at least 15-30 grams of protein and about 30-90 grams of carbohydrates. Do not leave your body running on empty after you have completed that last set or finish that last mile. After your are done with your workout, your body keeps on working doing repairs and replenishing what it needs long after you are done. So today make a simple post-workout shake with plenty of nutrition that your body will crave.

Hemp Protein and Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. Organic Hemp Protein Hi-Fiber

  • 1 tbsp. Organic Hemp Oil

  • 1 Banana

  • 2 tbsp. Organic Plain Whole Milk Yogurt

  • 1 cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk or Soy Milk

Instruction: Start by adding your milk to have it closer to the blade, then add your hemp protein powder to your blender. Now add your yogurt, oil, and banana to blend it all together. All you do now is turn on your blender and let it blend for 30 to 60 second or until your smoothie is completely mix. Drink your smoothie immediately after it as been made. Feel free to add other greens or proteins and carbohydrates to your smoothie like peanut butter and kale to boost the nutritional value of your smoothie.
