Juicing is no meal replacement; it is a quick and healthy way to provide the body with rich nutrients. That is why I love to take some fruits and vegetables and juice them for a healthy dose of natural vitamins. A green juice is top on my list when I want to juice a jar of goodness. While it is a strong juice for a beginner, it does wonders for your body.

Ingredients (for 1 serving)

8 Organic Carrots 2 Organic Thumb of Ginger 1 Organic bunch kale 1 tbsp. of Organic Lemon Juice 4 Organic Medium Gala Apple 1 Organic Bunch of Cilantro

Directions

Gather and rinse all your vegetables and start juicing all the greens and follow juicing the rest. After everything as been juice use a strainer to strain the juice mix once to take out any extra pulp. Now add your lemon juice and give the whole thing a good shake to mix it all together. Note that with the amount of ginger in this drink it may be too strong fro beginner; one trick is to allow the juice to sit for 30 minutes to settle and you are ready to drink.

Lemon juice is rich in vitamin C plus works as a powerful anti-inflammatory to help your body. Lemon juice also contains other unique flavonoid compounds that have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

It takes about 20 minutes to make this juice. Try drinking it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning to make it easy for your body to absorb the vitamins and nutrients. Drinking your juice fresh is recommended because oxygen depletes the nutrients.
