Natural Homemade Anti-Aging DIY Face Cream

When it comes to anti-aging skin care going natural is your best bet. If you preferred what is in the market, that is no problem. Some companies like Burt's Bees make excellent products use for skin care. If you are like me, you want to know every single ingredient in your face cream all you have to do is make you very own. Feed your skin what it needs while maintaining its natural elasticity naturally. The most effective anti-aging remedies come from nature itself. By mixing your very own anti-aging face cream, you will be able to soften those fine lines, refresh your face, and have younger looking skin.

The most important part is to determine what you are looking to achieve in your face cream. Do you have fine lines that need to soften? Maybe you are looking at newly form crows feet by your eyes? Using a mix of shea butter, carrier oils, and pure essential oils can have profound effects on your face when to combine to make a face cream.

Shea Butter and Beeswax are both anti-inflammatory, they help the skin maintain it's natural elasticity and help with anti-aging. Protect your skin the most using coconut oil, the oil protects your skin against free radicals and contains the highest antioxidant activity. Vitamin E oil also provides anti-oxidants to the skin, great for wrinkles and healing. Almond oil is an emollient, your benefit by achieving soft and smooth skin. Rejuvenate your skin along with improving the complexion of the skin tone. Essential oils are important, look for oils that contribute you aging skin. Adding essential oils to your face cream will help your oils effect strengthen. Treat fine lines and wrinkles or prevent them from showing too soon by using fennel, rose hip, geranium, rosemary, and frankincense essential oils. Making your very own face cream is not so difficult with only a hand full of ingredients.

Ingredients (Where to Buy)

  • 1 tablespoon of almond oil

  • 1 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 1 oz of beeswax

  • 4 capsules of vitamin E oil

  • 1/2 cup of raw shea butter

  • 5 drops of Fennel Essential Oil

  • 5 drops of Rose Hip Essential Oil

  • 5 drops of Frankincense Essential Oil

  • 4 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil

  • 5 drops of Geranium Essential Oil

Directions: Start with your beeswax, add it to your blender or mixing bowl, now whip it until it gets creamy. Now add your shea butter with the beeswax and mix them together to make one smooth blend. Mix for about one minute to make it more harmonious to add your oils. Now add all your carrier oils and essential oils to your mix. Depend on the consistency you would like look for how thick or light the mix is looking. Once you reach your desired look of your blend, pour it into your glass container for storage. After your product as set down for about a good 30 minutes or more if the weather is cold it may harden a little or if its hot it will stay at its previous consistency for the most part. Make sure to store your product in a cool place when you are not using it. For best results after you have clean your face and apply a face serum implement the cream in the morning and at night before bedtime. Make sure to avoid the eye areas and massage your face for about one to three minutes after applying the face cream to help your skin drinks it up.
